Artist Biography

Born in 1980 in Lagos, Nigeria, Olapade Suliyat Tope Ajibola began her artistic journey inspired by her brother's painting and sketching. Her early exposure to art ignited a passion that would shape her entire career.

Pursuing her passion with dedication, she graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Fine and Applied Arts from LAUTECH, Oyo State, in 2004. Her academic excellence was recognized as she graduated as the only student in her class to complete the program on time, earning the distinction of an outstanding student.

Known for her distinctive sketching strokes, her work is often richly textured, combining flowing patterns and harmonious colors. Her art reflects the resilience, spirituality, and strength of women in modern society, creating powerful narratives through visual storytelling.
